Meet Dr. Mehran Raza
Dr. Mehran Raza was raised in San Diego. He is a graduate of San Diego State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1990. He then went on to pursue a career in dentistry at the reputable University of Southern California (USC) and graduated in 1994. Since 1994 he has been practicing in San Diego, where he specializes in a wide range of procedures and is highly recognized by his peers. In addition to general dentistry, he enjoys spending time at home in Scripps Ranch with his wife and three children.

Dr. Maitham Alaayedi
Dr. Maitham Alaayedi is a dedicated and passionate dentist who graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2021. Shortly after graduation, he began his professional journey in Tampa, Florida, where he practiced for a year and gained valuable clinical experience.
During that time, Dr. Alaayedi met his better half, and they married quickly. His wife is originally from San Diego, so they decided to move there together to be closer to her home. Since relocating, Dr. Alaayedi has continued to grow both personally and professionally.
Dr. Alaayedi joined Escondido Family Dental Care and Specialty Center as an associate under the guidance of Dr. Raza, who has been an incredible mentor and played a significant role in his development. With his support and mentorship, Dr. Alaayedi eventually became the owner of the practice.
Dr. Alaayedi is deeply committed to providing high-quality dental care and helping patients restore their smiles with confidence. Seeing the positive impact of his work on patients’ lives brings him genuine happiness and reinforces his love for dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr. Alaayedi enjoys spending quality time with his wife and one-year-old daughter. He stays active by playing soccer, running, and hiking, and enjoys activities that bring an adrenaline rush. He also has a passion for traveling and exploring different cultures around the world.
