How Often Should My Child See a Kid-Friendly Dentist?

Even though kids eventually lose their baby teeth, it is still vital to keep these teeth healthy by seeing a kid-friendly dentist frequently. In combination with teaching your kids to keep up with a good oral hygiene routine, seeing a kid-friendly dentist is the most important thing you can do for the oral health of your child.

Remember that even when baby teeth appear to be fine, there could be underlying issues that cannot be identified with a visual examination. X-rays and other imaging technologies can help to catch gum and teeth issues before they become a painful problem for the child.

Frequent visits to the kid-friendly dentist can also help to build a good relationship between the dentist and child. This can establish a level of trust that translates into a less fearful experience for future dental procedures.
